About us

Associated Speech Consultants was founded in 1990 by Kathy Jo Simmie, M. Sc, Speech Language Pathologist. Her mission was to provide opportunities for individuals with communication difficulties to have access to as much therapy as required. Working with occupational therapists, psychologists, teachers, social workers and physicians, Associated Speech Consultants has earned an outstanding reputation as a leader in the field.

In September of 2021, Renelle Stoicescu became the new owner of Associated Speech Consultants and strives to continue the excellent service that Kathy Jo has been able to provide over the last 30+ years. In 2021, the excitement continued as ASC opened a second location in Saskatoon! Within our clinical setting we are fortunate to be able to consult and work closely with occupational therapists as needed to provide well-rounded services for the individuals we see.
